Billing Policy
This page clearly summarizes PlayQR's billing policies (subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, and add-ons).
1. Annual subscriptions
- PlayQR subscriptions are annual.
- They are not automatically renewed.
- At the expiration, the client can voluntarily renew. Otherwise, associated services will be deactivated.
2. Trial Period (TRIAL)
- A 14-day free trial is offered when creating an account.
- The features available during the trial may be limited.
- No automatic billing is performed.
- A paid subscription can be purchased at any time during the trial. Purchasing a subscription ends the trial.
3. Definition of “contractual month”
The contract month is calculated from date to date from the initial activation date of the paid plan. Example: activation on January 2nd → 1st month ends on February 1st.
Only contractual months fully drained are considered acquired. No daily pro rata is applied.
4. Upgrade
- The upgrade can be performed at any time.
- The initial annual deadline is maintained (it does not change).
- The months that have already passed remain certain.
- The amount billed corresponds to the difference between the plans, calculated on the remaining months until expiration.
The calculations performed by PlayQR are final, barring any obvious errors.
5. Downgrade
- The downgrade is possible only at the annual due date.
- No partial refunds are granted during the year.
6. Add-ons
- Certain add-ons can be added during your subscription (e.g., +10 QR codes, +10 Enterprise cards, Event modules).
- Add-ons are billed according to the rules applicable to the product and do not change the annual due date.
For prorated add-ons, the calculation is based on the remaining contract months.
7. No reimbursement
All orders are firm and final. No refunds will be granted in case of non-use, early termination, customer error, or violation of the Terms and Conditions.
